End of the Year..

I been sick the last few weeks, watching Nadia, catching up on some reading n tv shows. We were supposed to have dinner on Christmas Eve at Cheri's but she changed it to Christmas Day instead. My mom had made plans to go to her friend Linda's house which was ok with us. On Wednesday, I helped Cheri make cookies, which were not so good cuz she insisted on using 'I can't believe it's not butter' instead of crisco n margarine, but no argument. Nadia got a whole bunch of toys she was happy, they gave me a nice pair of black boots n some ankle socks. I needed both.
I was so excited last week, Carlos n his family came to visit, his wife n lil girl r the cutest ever. They were on the way to Puerto Rico for the holidays. I'm gonna try to go to their mom's on Sunday they'll b there too.
I mananged to get a few things finished, a sweater set for Melissa's new baby, n a cute hat for Carlos's daughter, n a blue hat for James' new baby boy.
After lots of thought Cheri has mentioned that she's thinking of going back to school for PA(Physicians' Assistant) med school here she comes :), I guess I knew that Nursing would not fulfill her. whew. She is the smartest 23yr old I know. lol.
I'm praying that the New Year brings much happiness for all my family n friends, n a life-partner for me.. lol. A girl can dream, can't she?

Long time no say...

I been kinda busy the last few weeks. On Nov. 20 something I went to c Twilight:New Moon. It was damn awesome, I can't wait for the other 2 movies. I luv the Twilight Saga books, I haven't enjoyed so much since Anne Rice. On Thanksgiving - Cheri told me that she is pregnant, due early summer. ok, moving forward. My mom is doing better, she finally had the surgery done a few days after Thanksgiving, she's still a lil tired but bitchin, so I know she's gettin better, lol. My heart informed me that we will never meet cuz the lady he dated off n on for a year is gonna have a baby girl. Nice of him to tell me he was dating, but..whatever. I'm over it now. The lil one is beatiful. They're together. I wished him happiness.
I wait for the right person, n well, I have poor taste in men anyways, I dont' know why I even bother.
My lil girl is doing great, Nadia is sick like me, both of us have a cold. I had to take Cheri downtown today, hence the pic of the REN-CEN above. I couldn't sleep all nite cuz I coughed till my throat is raw n my chest hurts, my dear sil brought me some antibiotics, thank u.
We're having Christmas dinner on Christmas eve cuz my daughter n family r goin to her aunt n uncles. Their spending this saturday with her dad n family.
My famil doesn't have time for me, so I guess this year I will go to c Sherlock Holmes at the movies n get some shrimp someplace maybe at Mongolian BBQ.
Beckie n I have talked since a week ago saturday, we went to the movies n to dinner afterward, I got my nose out joint/pissed off, cuz the whole time we were trying to eat she kept texting everyone. I think it's rude, then she tells me at 7:30pm that she's gotta get back to her place to do a card reading by 8. What was the point of asking me to hang out with u at ur place if u have plans to do a reading too. I luv her she was my best friend, but I guess she's really not. Our mutual friend Lila mil passed away last week the funeral is this saturday, I'm sure I will c her. I'm not sure what I should say. Im gonna b very nice. N then leave. I hope I feel better by then. I haven't worked on any projects cuz everything has been busy. I'm gonna sleep tonite.. got Nadia tomorrow. :)
