October went by quickly, my SIL went to Lebanon for 3 weeks, I stayed day n night at my daughters to take care of my cuties while she worked. I enjoyed it. I made some red hats n booties for December time. the kids were cute for Halloween - they were Minnie n Mickey Mouse, lol. Thanksgiving coming up, I'm already turkey hungry. I had a dream of when I was younger, my grandma n I would walk up to Wonder Bakery thrift store on Temple n GrandRiver service drive n get bread n pies. My grama made the best stuffing. I miss those times. We try to make it special.
I had a fallen out with a friend from my childhood, she reached out but it was just to say a few crude things. I wished her well n said bye. I don't need any stress.
I have catching up on a few of fav tv shows:ie: Bones, the Sons of Anarchy, Detroit 187, Burn Notice, Food Network shows. Life is just too good. I wanna live it n b happy. till next time. :)

I managed to knit this pretty scarf, it's made from a 4oz ball of RedHeart Bright & Lofty, I found at the Salvation Army for 50cents each. I luv to knit, it keeps me sane. I have a whole lot of interests like, knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading everything, listening to all types of music, tarot cards, candle making, baking- cakes, cookies, brownies, breads, meals, juicing, candy making. Most of the stuff I make is gifts or sent to the online group called All Crafts for Charity, it's a yahoo group. They have helped with many creative ideas as well as patterns n organizations in need.
I'm grateful that the God's gave me these gifts. I am very into using the computer, webcams r helpful for takin pics, and communicating in chats with family n friends. Learning has been a very big interest in my life. I try to use my lil knowledge to make my life easier and helping others when I can.
I have been blessed with a wonderful daughter n 2 of the most beautiful grandchildren on the planet. My wonderful friends and pets (4 dogs n a cat) make my life happier too!
Thanks to the universe for sending all this into my life.
I know that I have had 50 something years, but I hope that they give me another 50, I have sooo many more things to do before I leave this world. :)

I can't believe most of this year has passed by, I been busy helping with my new handsome lil grandson who is now a bit over 2months. Omg, I'm having a blast being with them. I was only blessed with one daughter, but she's given me more with the grandkids, I watch them while she works. I got a few projects in the works for winter - a few scarf/hat sets, a dozen pink slippers n a few things cut out to sew. Just gettin round to it, I'm tired out at night. I'm workin on it. :)

August 2010

So much has gone on this past month, Ryan is now 1 month old. Nadia's bday is in a few days she is 3. Time flies. I got to spend time with my friends, like Beckie n I caught a movie n dinner. I got a Tarot reading from her that was good. I also got to have lunch n shop with Barb. She n her husband came over to do the yardwork, it's awful. My backyard was worse than Jurrasic Park, seriously. I can't do it, kills me. Thank you each of them for their work.
I been spending the nights at Cheri's to help with Ryan, I luv both my grandbabies. :). In some of the time, I was invited n enjoyed greatly, 3 graduation parties. Mom is ok, crazy as ever. I chatted with my cuzins from NY that was fun. My heart, he's moved on with his family n life. Oh well, maybe someday God may send me a partner to enjoy some life with. Im just thankful for all the great people in my life. It's all good.

July 2010

This month has been hot. I been working in the yard alot, got out a few times to the Eastern Market, took my mom. Summertime is best for me, I luv it. Just wished I lived closer to the beach or ocean, water invigorates me :). Nannah is soo much fun, I haven't seen her enough since her mom is due to have the lil boy any day now, this coming Tuesday if he doesn't come this weekend. I'll take care of my lil princess while her mom is at the hospital, help in the weeks she will b home recovering. Ryan is the first boy in our family since my cuzin Curty born 1962. He has 3 girls. While I was reading yahoo local news the Det News run a article on Detroit, it was cute, here is the website http://www.insidedetroit.org/ there is alot of great info bout Detroit in it.
I heard the new song by Enrique Iglesias n Pitt Bull, damn E's hot. the song is pretty cool too. I luv Latin Pop n all types of music.

June

June already. Cheri n hubby went on their vacation to Fla from the 2nd-6th. Nadia n I had fun too, she came with me home to feed n take the dogs outside, she rebonded with Spanky, she loves animals. She likes Bill-kitty too. :) I got her a cheap pool at Family Dollar n some toys, she played in the pool n we went over to the park a few blocks away, she luvs to play. I had a geat time with her. Cheri n Ahmed came home looking tan n rested, lots of great beach pics, lol. I want to go to Key West, but the baby is due very soon n I can't afford to travel either. I'm excited to have the new baby boy come, Ryan is a nice name. I did manage to get his sweater set done, but his blanket is even started, bad-Nana. I had the last 4days home, I got alot done n alot Not, lol. Beckie n I did get to c the movie 'Sex In the City 2, it was very good. We're very excited cuz the Twilight Saga: Eclipse is opening this week. We're catchin it Saturday at the cheaper time. End of the month is tight for me.
I been tired last evening n today, I cut most of the lawn, but I need a 25ft outdoor extension cord to finish. GGGrrrrr.
Anyways, I'm back to c my lil princess tomorrow, I seen her saturday for awhile. I always miss her.
Seems a few of my friends r going thru hard times, I luv my family n dearest friends with my heart n soul, I will always have their backs. I'm blessed to have great family n friends. I'm good.

It's May...

April Showers bring May Flowers. Cute, but it rains alot in May. We've had alot of rain, then it gets very hot. I like warm-hot weather.
I been spending alot of time at Cheri's watching Nadia. :). Ahmad graduated college, yeah again, Cheri is tired n very pregnant. The new lil one is a boy due around July 21st. She n hubby r going to Fla for a week to vacation n rest. I'm jealous, I wanna go, lol. I'm gonna watch Na, we're gonna have lots of fun. So far I'm feeling good, taking the One a Day vitamin everyday helps, I also been eating healthier. My mom gave me a juicer that she didn't want that was a gift to her. I luv that thing. I also been packing some stuff, trying to rid out the unused/unwanted stuff. I wanna move to a better place. My time in this house is done. I did some taxes, made a lil cash that helped. This weekend Im gonna work more. Sometimes I'm just sleepy. Time marches on.

Things r getting better

I used almost all my check to pay DTE then Cheri helped by paying the rest. She's got a good heart, thank God. I got the utilities back on. I'm been spending most of my days n nights at Cheri's takin care of Nadia. She passed her Nursing License exam last Tuesday she is officially a RN. Ahmad will graduate in May. Whew ... I'm glad. Cheri's hours at work r horrendous/awful, the 7pm to 7am shift - 3 nites a week, spread out. We went grocery shopping n she treated me to dinner at RedLobster yummy seafood, we also went to iHOP the other afternoon, we had breakfast food. I been home all day Friday, I should have done more, I vegetated. I miss Nadia. My 18yr old cat Charlie died a few days ago, I cried as I wrapped him up, he was a sweet beautiful animal. My Bill cat is 17 now. The dogs r aged 12, n the 3 youngest r 10. After God takes them all I won't get anymore. :(. It hurts to much when they leave u. I got some tax work this weekend which will help me this month. I have a babyshower at 3pm. I think I'll clean house on Sunday so I can just throw out the trash. I want to organize more so I can get the house up for sale by summer. I want to move. Sooo much to do, so little time. I made the blue set for the babyshower tomorrow. Nadia was smiling when we went to RedLobster. Cheri n her friend Jen took the kids to c Dora the Explorer at the Fox, Nadia luvs Dora n Boots. Borders tomorrow evening, then the Dollar movie. I'm pricing the Dirt mix for my Square Foot Garden, the raised beds r ready n the seeds r waiting, lol. I'll post pics when I get it ready. Sleepy now, good nite.

Hard Times

I spent the last week of February in the hospital with Pneumonia. I got home the day b4 my 52nd bday. On March 3rd the wonderful DTE turned off my heat n on the 10th deminished my lights too. I did call them a few times to ask for a lil reprieve till I could pay off the back property taxes on the house but they're just assholes. I been a customer for over 20something years but no.. shut off. I been staying at Cheri's when it's too cold to sleep in my house, making a trip home to care for the pets, thank god they have warm coats on them. March has been ok, I did get a new phone = we switched to Sprint, cheaper for me. I got a Blackberry Curve in my fav color(plum purple), that thing is like a mini computer. :)
Although I miss home, I get to c Nadia alot, she tickles me soo much. I enjoy all the times with her. I'm excited for the new baby Ryan to come in July. I'm still absorbing that I'm a grandma. LOL. I still hope to have luv someday too.
I'm goin to DTE next week to pay up as much as possible n try to get the utilities back on so I can do things at home. Life moves on.

February Plus

I forgot to mention that I'm goin with some ladyfriends to the Dirty Show - it's Erotica / Art. Also goin to the Fetish Party sponsored by Noir Leather in Royal Oak. I started goin there in the mid 80's. They have all the latest and interesting Adult stuff, leather clothes, shoes, sex toys. Fun stuff for people n luvers. :)
I got out my book to start plans for my Square Foot Garden, it's awesome. The book is called All New Square Foot Gardening by Mel Bartholomew. www.squarefootgardening.com I learned about it in a book called the Tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn. Yes, I learned tightwadding from my grandparents (who raised me) and living life and reading the book. Easy to tell what my passion is, READING.! Read to learn as much as possible to make my life easier. LOL. I also recieved my Burpee Seed catalog, whew, www.burpee.com that seed company has been around for over 100 years. I want to visit their crop farm in PA someday.
I know I have a whole lot of interests, can't help myself, lots to do. Keeps my brain active and happy. :)

February Items

February is a busy month for me. I'm a Tax Preparer in the season, personal taxes only. This month is work, takin care of Nadia while her parents work n school. Valentines' Day, and my birthday is the end of the month. I'll b 52. Mmmm, I know I'm half century old, but I gotta alot to do b4 leaving this earth. I hope I have another 45-50 years. I'm amazed at how much science and 'stuff' has evolved since I was a girl. Amazing.
Nadia is wearing a hat n scarf set I made, she's soo cute, lol. I got stuff cut out to sew, yarn to work with but just not alot of time. I was sick with bronchitis for almost 2months, made me lazy tired. Now, I'm trying to do stuff slowly.
We had a great time earlier, we took Nadia to c Sesame Street Live, she loves Elmo. I used to take Cheri when she was growing up. I enjoyed it too. I am truly blessed with family n a few great friends. :)

New Year...

I'm behind in my blogs, but sometimes I get busy with other stuff n then have to come back to it.
This is a new year n a much happier one, I'm gonna b a granma again, :), hope we get a boy, I luv my lil Nana, n taking care of her. My mom is doin better, Cheri is goin back to school next year for Physician's Assistant, wow, I'm beyond bein proud of her. I'm soooo blessed with family n friends.
Starting tomorrow I'm gonna clean out this house, out with the old in with the new. If all goes according to plan n karma, we're moving to Newport area before summer. I'm very excited, one of my dearest/closest friends lives there with her families. I want to get settled, start living the 2nd half of this great life God has granted me. Much to do, with family, friends, craft projects n charity work n Tax-Work. It's gonna b a busy - happy year. I'm thankful for everything.
